Untitled (Authority Figures), is an ongoing series of assemblages generated from loose, bureaucratic and pedagogical materials. The works reappropriate clipboards—objects often wielded by bureaucrats—as compositional devices used to interface material specificities, and arrive at vibratory and fugitive relationships nested within stationery and ephemera. The compositions tether the tensions, humour, and ambitions of objects precariously to affectively dislodge them from their intended employment and authority.
