Ergonomics of Rocks, 2019

An attunement of positionality, Ergonomics of Rocks situates the self in relation to its environment, and structures of power and influence that shape the social-scape. Thinking alongside cultural theorist, Kathleen Stewart’s, Atmospheric Attunements (2011), the piece turns to the found rock as a document, and speculative-narrative vehicle, to retell the chronicles of the environment’s ever-changing social terrain, and contexts.
