The site of the sedimentary rock is the site of many. Comprised of precariously bound matter, sedimentary rocks conjunct, and compress, time, knowledges, and bodies to form unfixed identities. Amalgamating and muddling radio-transmissions with objects and text, the work presents viewers with three working-definitions of “sedimentary.” Due to the instability of the three poetic representations, the viewer-listener-reader’s understandings of “sediment” becomes obfuscated as their meanings phase between semiotic valences.
